Which Chelsea legend said it is his ‘dream’ to manage at Stamford Bridge?

first_img Which Chelsea legend said it is his ‘dream’ to manage at Stamford Bridge? 1 Gianfranco Zola admits he would love to return to Chelsea as manager – but the Stamford Bridge legend has backed the struggling champions to recover. Chelsea host Dynamo Kiev in the Champions League on Wednesday after Saturday’s damaging 3-1 defeat to Liverpool left them 15th in the Barclays Premier League and piled the pressure on boss Jose Mourinho.Zola, who made 312 appearances and scored 80 goals for Chelsea after signing from Parma in 1996, is currently manager of Al Arabi in Qatar. But the former Watford and West Ham boss, who has stated his desire to become manager at the Bridge before, still wants to return to west London.“My dream, let us say my ambition, is to be Chelsea manager some day in the future,” he told www.sc.qa.“However, I realise that I need to improve as a manager if I want to get there. And I am working hard to achieve my goal. Qatar is helping me a lot in this regard.”Chelsea have struggled this season and Mourinho has denied a player revolt, with John Terry insisting the dressing room is behind the manager, and Zola expects them to bounce back after one win in their last eight games.“The club has it in them to turn around their fortunes. A good result in the Champions League game against Kiev followed by a couple of league wins will do the trick,” said Zola, who played for Chelsea between 1996 and 2003.“There is no one compelling reason for the poor start to the season. The poor form of key offensive players Eden Hazard and Diego Costa has not helped. Defensively as well the team dropped the standards set last year. So the players have lost confidence as a group and this has led to poor results.”last_img read more

LG may launch V40 ThinQ with triple camera setup, notch on November 16

first_imgLG has already unveiled two premium budget smartphones-LG G7 ThinQ and LG V35 ThinQ– this year. And the word is that the company is planning to launch another V series smartphone this year with a set of extremely powerful cameras.According to a report by MySmartPrice which has managed to get a hold of the first press renders, LG’s upcoming top-end device– V40 ThinQ– is likely to come with a notched screen and a triple camera setup on the rear side of the phone. The triple camera is likely to be coupled with a single LED flash. With this, the Korean tech giant will be able to compete with the likes of Huawei P20 Pro and companies like Apple and Samsung, which are planning to introduce a triple-camera setup in their upcoming smartphone launches. While LG is likely to retain its trademark wide-angle lens, it remains unclear if the company would include a telephoto lens in the third module. Besides this, the phone is also expected to sport a dual-camera setup in the front, a feature which was last seen in LG V10. However, word is that the secondary camera in the front could also be an IR sensor which could indicate that LG might include 3D face recognition technology in its upcoming smartphone.Besides this, the leaked images indicate that the phone could feature a glass back with mirrored finish. Just like G7 ThinQ, V40 ThinQ would sport the fingerprint sensor at the back of the phone under the triple camera setup.advertisementAs far as the display is concerned, LG has so far used OLED screen in its V-series smartphones. In line with this trend, V40 is likely to sport P-OLED display with curved edges. The display is likely to sport a notch on the top, a feature which was seen in most smartphone launches this year. While there appears to be no notch in the leaked press render, but if you look at it carefully, the notch in V40 appears to be masked just like it can be in G7 ThinQ.Apart from this, the placement of the buttons seems to be similar to G7 ThinQ. While the button dedicated for Google Assistant appears on the left side of the device below the volume control button, the power button is placed on the right side of the phone. Additionally, the phone, like most top-notch phones launched this year is expected to run on Qualcomm Snapdragon 435 processor and sport a loudspeaker, a microphone and a 3.5mm jack.ALSO READ: LG G7+ ThinQ with AI cameras and Snapdragon 845 processor launched at Rs 39,990, exclusive to FlipkartThe report apart from spilling the beans about the phone also suggests that the company could unveil the phone on November 16, 2018.last_img read more
